Workplace: searching of the hidden backlogs

I will not place here beautiful pictures from some stranger, seeming unreal, lives, and I will be limited to only that is able to do for myself at home.

At first I suffered on all apartment with a suitcase in search of my place, then unnoticed, won the place of a closet in a bedroom :)


Happiness was short, in one wonderful moment I felt that a place is nevertheless undersized.
Sinking to one side on folks estimating, that voluntarily nobody of them will not freethe room, Decision came as an old garage and lithoidal shed. With masters there was made a repair of apartments. Under my most strict control masters did everything, that I bethought to for a successful workshop. Certainly, something yet finished off farther more, brought in designer decisions and WOW turned out!
 Welcome to my inspired monastery :)

 All repair was more than budgetary, all walls in the workshop of a different color. Acquired a paint in a nearby shop on a sale.  And one working wall decided to glue up with pictures and undercuts from magazines that on that moment warmed the soul and especially made a happy possibility of permanent updating it, by gluing up of tired pictures.

Specially for the workshop I divided a table into three working places. (it does not mean that I plan to collect workers, simply typewriters in permanent work and to move them is uncomfortable, it is much simpler to sit on a new place). A table is the simplest and cheap construction from 4th stands. For a comfort a sewing machine is sunk in a table, try, very comfortable!

All other furniture is bought for a neighbor on Garage Sale J pasted over the Back walls old undercuts, wallpapers - decorated shorter. Glued the sheet of tin, a magnetic wall painted and turned out. Very useful!



Well, and a working wall is fully collected from "that it was"


A box from a writing desk transforms in holder for ribbons and braid.
 
To the analogical construction -holder for a lace, but with the use of cardboard spools.
Here is an incomprehensible box having a brightly-pink color and inscription of Barbie found application.
 
And everything is simple here, therefore simply beautiful pictures :)
 
From window molding filletа and bamboo swords are holders for spools.

And it is a new life of the beaten cup and offcutss of the knitted fabric. Buttons assorted beforeon little packages, are very comfortable to keep in transparent jars.


 At last there was a place to the laces saved in enormous amounts.

And this "dresser" is very capacious  and very heavy, ideal for storage of little things, and in an underbody supplies of fabrics.

A cutting out table that I like very much stands in a center. I do not understand how lucky I was to buy it so cheap. It is so large, that its little, but most beautiful part was placed in a shot.
 
And favourite sewing typewriters!
 

And farther - zone of Relax. During an interruption it is possible to have a drink a cup of coffee and read a favorite book, and in damp weather it is simply possible to warm up by the fireplace. Wonderful, isn’t it?!

And the most important : dreams come true! True-true, maybe not immediately, on slightly, it is needed only exactly to set forth them.

Family And Work. How to have time here and there. My experience

The other day I read comments to one of posts and got terrified: so many work from a morning to night, not seeing family, someone abandons children on a weekend with grandmothers, and go to do orders, etc. I remember myself a few years ago, when I only began to work: round the clocks I sit at the computer, all weekend I wrote down tutorials and wrote the articles, and when orders went, then I began to work yet at nights. Even being on a vacation, I continued to work.

But once I got on the living training that compelled me fully to cut again the business hours. Training was on a quite remote theme, however at some instant a trainer said: "In the process of work and by a race after money you have no authority to forget about those, for whom you do all of it. Those, who you so try for the sake of, must be always on the first place for you ". These words opened  my eyes on my situation. Actually, only for the sake of these words I needed to come on this training.
I understood that trying to do better to the family, I do only worse. What will remember my daughter after a few years: that how cool we went at the seaside that year or that she did not see the mother that ploughed practically, that a child enjoyed in summer? Beautiful dresses/blouses or always sitting at the computer mother that worked, to make her daughter look as a doll?
Then I said myself - my family is the topmost.
How it reflected in reality:
1. I took to myself that time, when I will not work not under any circumstances - on Sunday and each evening, when daughter comes from school. This time is only for her.
2. On Saturday we, as a rule, work, but child here with us: we assign her that she helped us, or she engages in the businesses in this moment - draws, plays, reads. Thus on Saturday we do not abandon important businesses requiring an overpressure, therefore during work we communicate calmly, laugh loudly, joke. If it is needed to do something, requiring a concentration, then it only then, when daughter sleeps. Such principle allows us not to be nervous, if daughter distracts us with something, and vice versa, work merry and friendly.
3. I began to work less, but more productive. For me the always strictly taken time is on writing of posts, prosecution of tutorials and answers on a comments. This time occupies at most 2 hours in a day. All other time, if I work on orders, I do not open web-sites that does not need me for work presently.
4. To teach myself to work, not distract, I periodically include a timer (before I used him constantly).
As I use a timer. Maximal time on that it can be set - 45 minutes, minimum 5 minutes. When I only began to work with a timer, I put a timer during all day: 45 minutes on this work, 15 minutes ona break during that it is possible to have a drink of tea or getting on some other work, et cetera. You do not present how much can be done for a day! For example, I could work at once on two different orders, and quite not to get tired, because I changed the type of activity constantly. Mainly, beforehand to prepare all necessary materials and instruments on different tables and after the wearing-out of timer it is simple to pass to other business. It allows to work a ten times more productive and quicker!

5. I use helpers. As helpers for me acquaintances and relativescome forward, as a rule.
For what works it is possible to take helpers. For example, it is possible to find a helper on the dispatch of parcels to the customers, in fact it occupies lots of time - to go down on mail, stay in a turn, fill in form et cetera. By the way, helpers can become your family members are childrenwith the greatest pleasure, cadets and sisters, and can be grandmothers and grand-dads. Maybe, they only wait when you will ask them about it. For example, my daughter adores, when many colors are ordered by me, because she helps to pack every floweret in a package and clamp a package with a stapler.
6. We often speak with a husband and with a child on a theme work and joint rest. We build plans together, put aims, discuss, how these aims we will arrive at. It gives us all understanding that we are family, but not each by themselves.
7. I renounce orders and projects, if it conflicts with the 1 point of this list. All money cannot be earned, and there is a domestic peace - this is the most important. It is possible to treat  without that chic dress on a New Year, it is possible not to eat for three chocs a day, it is possible rarer to walk in restaurants, but more often to be with the native, more often to speak with them, to have a resttogether, watch films, go for a walk on the forest.
 
In this post I wanted to say that Your family –is the most expensive, what you have. You have no right to deprive the family attention for the sake of work.
Sit down and think over, how you must cut again the business hours and activity so that were with familyyou a sufficient amount of time:
- work more productive and quicker;
- leave off a clock to sit in social networking and publics;
- search helpers;
- eventually, renounce those projects that will bring to you not very much money, but will take away plenty of time.

How to enjoy creative work and to sell your works

From middle of winter some pause began in my work, and already hardly anymore month stayed till that moment, as I will become a mother in third time! Smiles, tears... What happiness is this oppressive expectation!

Certainly, folder with sketches is filled up, ideas give birth one by one, the whole plan of work is worked out in a head, customers wait, but I now can work only slightly, even on this publication went away almost half-year, and I so sincerely want to share the secret ideas with you.
Think that in summer at much quite a bit spare time and it is possible to analyze and create!
Publication for those who want to create in the style and want his works to be bought.
I write the personal ideas, opinion, maybe, it will not coincide with your, I want nobody to offendby nothing.
It is my point of view to date, maybe, after a while I will rethink a great deal.
I analyse that I do and how I do it very often. Ideas accumulated concerning the sales of online and development on the whole. It is possible to say, that it was my some plan of development. Even now I can re-read it again.
I distinguished 7 basic points that is very important, especially at the beginning of the way, certainly, in a head yet very many ideas, but a basic accent for me falls onnext:

1. To listen to yourself.
If you already own the technique of work with your favorites material well, you know very much receptions already, for you everything is even, neat and beautiful, color combinations  are harmonious, then try as possible quicker to find the special style of work. How?
Do not look anymore at worksof strangers. Let it sound cruelly, no inspiration by stranger inspiration. Search it! Step back from all that is done by other masters in your technique. Doing good, apply a maximum of the knowledge, choose, that befits, that no.
What happens when you are inspired by stranger inspiration? And it is very bad! Each time, opening a photo with work of other master and repeating that it is done by him, you kill the idea that lives for you inwardly. You begin to live by his idea. And who knows that was tested by master, doing the work, maybe, exactly in this thing the great number of forces and emotions is hidden and he took and did that about what dreamed. At considerable changes sense is lost in his work, energy is lost. Such works can become a weight for you, as though and done well, and however nonsense a fate of that can be very cheap.
Thus, your idea so remains on a distant shelf.
Certainly, I do not mean those moments, when you create the copy of work of favorite master intentionally, write in such cases, that work is done as a copy and specify the name of author.
Your aim, doing a copy:
а) Perfection of a quality of the work;
б) Infinite love to works of master and desire to have something alikefor yourself;
в) Desire to get in viewing on condition of search by "name ofa master".


2. Not to torment itself comparisons.
Why is it important not to compare the works to other?
а) When you did the good very well, and look at works of other masters, begin to think that they make better. Then planning new work, you involuntarily add something from that master. This is bad. There is your sense in your work. You are personality! Set to new work from a clean sheet;
б) understated self-appraisal. Involuntarily works of other master are perceived as a new, the best. But you do new, open the world newly. The ideas of creation of certain works come to everybody, for someone – earlier, for someone – later.

3.  To do the works and wait a customer.
As soon as you did even one your ownsuccessful work, under "successful" I understand that it was bought, then  you  -are a lucky person!
Why are you a lucky person? Because, you can do works in this direction, to develop them and broaden. And it is very important, you know a price it is possible to push off from that already, if you will continue to work in this direction, then to you will easily develop the shop.

4. To improve.
Perfect the technique and search interesting materials, do not decide to stop on the attained result! Why? Our market is the internet!  As soon as you published the authorial work, be ready, that will be inspired your inspiration, there will be copies and analogues very quickly. But it is your idea. Try to propose works by collections, do a few works at once.


5. To watch after a price.
Very often, doing work, we feel a price on that work will find a customer intuitively, so, listen nobody, put that price that your intuition prompts you.


6. To seize the moment.
"Ideas fly in mid air". How many times I heard, such phrases: "I wanted to do such worktoo" or "you readmy ideas"!. How many times before I heard it into itself. Herein all difference between all of us. Someone takes and does, goes on a new way, and someone is afraid to do work "not as everybody does". Leave off being afraid that you will not be understood or that work is too difficult. If it is your work, it will find that human, it will pleasehim that so that will need exactly that - only and unique.

7. To create in that direction in that it is easy.
For example, you do straps and bangles, but, say, purses block your fantasy. Do not do purses. Do straps and bangles, different-different with fairies or with flowers. Do that from what your heart strongly-strongly beats. Certainly, it is better to do a few names, who knows, what your future customer searched initially, but, seeing, understood that this strap is a dream of all his life.


8. Not to spare forces and time.
Be ready to that not everything is so quickly and simply sale. Follow the road and do not displace. If you found yourself, spare neither time nor forces on your business.
And farther it is possible to read from a point №1.

My Studio. Ideas And Realization.

Hi! A long time ago I promised to show how my workplace looks. The other day my husband and I had a thought up and had established a support for tapes. Of course, it is possible to improve indefinitely, but for me it is already convenient and comfortable to work here, and this is important.

On the Internet there is a set of options of interiors of workshops, all of them are approximately divided on cozy beautiful offices where everything is picked up for colors, beautifully placed on shelves by equal ranks and nothing gives presence of the person there, and art and workshops into which it is possible to peer for a long time in attempts to distinguish location of a desktop. I have an average option. I am very much sympathized by cozy office, I have got used to work in purity and to have an opportunity to sort the creative disorder during a couple of minutes after completion of work. But it also has elements of an art-workshop. To keep balance I am guided by several rules, here they are:

• The more often you use, the closer store.
• Each thing must have it’s place!
• Hide where you will look for.
• On the one bowl - availability, on another - a dust collection.

And so, now we pass directly to my workplace: it is a corner in the state muddy room. But it is very cozy corner))) From the general zone it is separated by a couple of racks. One rack completely belongs to me, another – for a general purpose. I work at old, almost antiquarian table at which my father did homework. There are a heap of scratches, even a hollow on it, but still it is very steady and strong. Now there is no such any more.

We make the way closer to a workplace. The main advantage of this apartment - is a view from the window. There are sprawling maples, lindens, birches and kindergarten under windows settled down. It is the fifth floor. Birdies chirp In the mornings:)
According to the first rule here is everything that is most often used: a needle case which I have made by myself, coils with threads, a calendar where I note holidays and master classes and a box with pens and brushes. There was an idea to make a box in the form of a short flight of stairs, but I have already got used to this container. Still there is a chest in which some constant in work things hide: small tools, beads for eyes, scraps of fabrics and works left unfinished. Better now not to open it)))) Periodically there is a book of the income expenses on a table which I very carefully keep, but generally it and albums with sketches hide behind the back in the general rack.

Two subjects that are extremely important for the maintenance of a desktop in purity - a desktop wastebasket and a flypaper. The wastebasket, perhaps, looks not really esthetically, but in my case, with a cover there will be only one trouble: only one hand is usually free, so there is nothing  to press a pedal with, and the cover revolving will be soiled with a paint which is quite often flies to a bucket too. The flypaper relieves of a fine dust, threads and spangles.

On the right there is the queen of a table - the Janome Silver Line sewing machine. The poor thing is old, has a couple of eaten spots and scratches on boards, but works regularly. Pedal and other socket tools and big cutting scissors I store in the lower box of a table.
On a wall I have decided to hang up only two diplomas. One - from my debut Hello Teddy in the 2009th, and another is absolutely fresh from Moscow Fair. There is a Doll-me, but it is not standard and so bright that I was afraid to hang up it over a desktop  - will distract.

The husband has made a support for tapes of beautiful shod corners. All has coincided ideally: corners, hooks and laths. As we have established it only recently, I still don't use her especially, I will perhaps reduce quantity of tapes on poles.

The most precious jewelry - a rack with fabrics! The top boxes occupy mainly the cottons which are spread out by the colors. By the way, it is an excellent way to store fabrics! I have put them thus about one and a half year ago and still never touched all box regarding reduction to an order. I only get and  stick back what is necessary in work.

There is a pair of containers with beads and palettes, a chest with a band, couple of remarkable books are stored from below: Also there are two beautiful jars with a band. I have spotted this idea on the Internet, but in practice it was not that convenient: tapes are confused, covers sit too densely. But it is beautiful.
There is a box with paints for a batik on the left. As you could notice, I have many chests)) In total there are 9 pieces. And a myriad of containers. They in itself are beautiful and they can be put anywhere.


In the biggest chest (real, made  from a tree!) laces are stored. Among other there are ancient French works of art. I have also an "inspiration board". It is a fresh acquisition so far I have occupied her not so much with materials on some preparing project, but mainly with just what is very much pleasant to me. But there is already a couple of pieces of paper with instructions, left unfinished little men and a photo with an owly.

Below on a board mini-clothes pegs on which orders hang are pasted. It is simpler to me to be guided in orders in this way. There are many orders have been collected. Now I will stop writing, and go urgently to do)) It is very pleasant to remove complete orders from a clothes peg and to throw out.

And in end - a couple of words about convenience. A mouline threads I store in a chest, having divided them by  the colors and having put in separate bags. It is so convenient if you, of course not a professional, and you have the whole heap  of these threads... then it is simpler to buy at once a full revolving object that is put in shops)) I store beads here in such separate containers where each cover opens separately. First, such container is always possible to grab with yourself if it is necessary to finish work outdoors, and secondly beads don't mix up in them. And the second picture with riches here is for an appearance. And what  a photo report without riches?))))

That's all! There are a lot of things I haven't shown yet. For example, as I store packing and where in the house the synthetic winterizer hides. I have hidden from excess eyes the left unfinished preparations and the place of Internet connection. Let there be an easy innuendo :)
